In 1976 the Edition Block, Berlin, published the multiple
Der Denker by Nam
June Paik.
It is the first multiple in history of video art.

One exemplar resides in the collection of the Pinakothek of Modernity in Munich.
We rebuilt an exact model of the Telefunken TV and the Sanyo camera  to
assure a permanent showcase of the artwork.

"Thanks to Paiks' Thinker (Denker) the visitor obtains -go thinking-, so see and
think, go on thinking."
This is the description of a good friend of Paik for this silent work.
